22-Jun-2015 : Japa by LuckyBrews. An American Pale Ale from Montecchio Maggiore in Italy. Nice bitterness, with a citrusy finish. Excellent for an APA. #ottbeerdiary #blogville

20-Jun-2015 : MyALE by La Mata. Citrusy, hoppy bitterness. More bitter than many English IPAs, even many double IPAs. Yet packed in 6.2%. I like it! This was one of the La Mata beers on offer in the big top circus tent at the #AlMeni festival #inEmiliaRomagna. #ottbeerdiary

19-Jun-2015 : Gradisca by Birra Amarcord. At perhaps the best piadina place on earth. Great with the piadinas. Rooftop table across from the beach. And the beer is quite delightful as well. #birraAmarcord #ottbeerdiary

18-Jun-2015 : La Bionda by BirraNatura. It's ok. A bit over-carbonated. Some banana-wheaty flavor comes out as it sits. #ottbeerdiary

17-Jun-2015 : Panil Barriquée by Panil Birrificio Torrechiara. From the brewery just below Torrechiara castle near Parma. We had a great tour of the brewery and tasting of a selection of their beers and other artisanal products. Some of the best beers in Italy, here #inEmiliaRomagna. Make sure to serve at the proper temperature. So much great wood flavors with the sour. Some bitterness on the aftertaste. Very nice. #blogville #ViaEmilia #ottbeerdiary

16-Jun-2015 : Birra Doppia Malto alle Castagne Affumicate e Ginepro by Beltaine. Part of the outstanding drink pairing menu we chose with our lunch at the new world's #2 best restaurant, Osteria Francescana by Chef Massimo Bottura. Beautiful spices in this beer. Paired great with the "Rice and Polenta that wants to be a Pizza" dish. #ottbeerdiary

13-Jun-2015 : Cardinal Spéciale by Feldschlösschen. Hotel minibar beer. Thrilled it's Swiss (even if part of Carlsberg group)! A Pilsner, decent. Special? Perhaps not. But it'll do! #ottbeerdiary

12-Jun-2015 : Wal & Schip Wild Turkey B.A. by Brouwerij De Molen. Heavy on the wild turkey. Almost overpowers the dark cocoa and coffee flavors. Almost. Still very good. #ottbeerdiary

11-Jun-2015 : Heymisse by De Verhuisbrouwerij. Love the dark coffee and sour flavors. But alas, a gusher. Open over the sink if you find one of these! #ottbeerdiary
