11-Apr-2015 : Shark Pants by De Struise Brouwers. a Belgian Double IPA from De Struise in collaboration with 3 Floyds. 9% ABV and 300 IBUs. Perhaps the hoppiest IPA ever proudced in Belgium. A bit past its prime, but still packing great hop bitterness and flavor. Loved it old, can only imagine how good this was fresh. #ottbeerdiary

10-April-2015 : Hunahpu's Imperial Stout (2013) by Cigar City Brewing. Great balance in this beer, between the dark flavors and alcohol. Even get plenty of vanilla barrel-type notes, despite this not being a barrel aged edition! Delicious! #ottbeerdiary

8-Apr-2015 : Lentebock (2015) by Koninklijke Brand Bierbrouwerij. More bitter than many of the Lentebock beers I've had this spring. Seems to be a growing trend. #ottbeerdiary

7-Apr-2015 : Vapeur en Folie by Brasserie A Vapeur, a steam-powered brewery in Belgium. Dark golden color with quite a bit of sediment. Interesting funky aroma, a bit musty. Flavor follows suit. If this wasn't a Saison, I'd be worried. #ottbeerdiary

5-Apr-2015 : Springtij by Texelse Bierbrouwerij. Had this Maibock both on draft and from bottle. I think I liked the draft better on this one. More spice notes came out from the tap. #ottbeerdiary

2-Apr-2015: Robustus 6 by Riegele BierManufaktur. "Kraftiges Vergnugen", or Strong Pleasure. Pitch black color with a dark creamy head. Not much aroma and flavor at first, but once it sits in the glass a few minutes, both really come out. Lots of chocolate and coffee aroma and flavor both. Definitely be patient with this one! #ottbeerdiary
