This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. You can catch up on all of our posts as part of the challenge under the tag ottbeerdiary.
Day 83: March 24, 2015
Diary entry:
Tuesdays are generally turning into one of my busier days at work, so quite a lot was going on today. Had to start pretty early, with meetings running for almost a full 12-hour day. Hectic schedule, but keeps the blood flowing.
Managed to pop back to the gym for the first time in a few weeks. I need to get back on track there, especially as I’m going to keep this challenge going for the rest of the year!
The Beer:
Name: Bayerisch Nizza Clubbier
Style: Blonde Ale
Producer: Hans Müller Sommelierbier
Alcohol content: 5.3%
Bottle size: 0.33l
Purchased from: EDEKA in Kleve, Germany
Another of the German Craft Beers picked up on a recent road trip to Germany. Hans Muller Bayerisch Nizza Clubbier. 5.3%. A wheat beer made from three hops: Citra, Centennial, and Chinook. Beautiful citrusy aroma. Nice flavor well balanced with a slight sweetness and sourness. Very drinkable.
