This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. Day 271: September 28, 2015
Diary entry:
Back to work today. Time for another fun, action packed work week!
A couple good meetings today, and a few appointments for later in the week set up.
Managed to get some groceries on the way home still, for a decent dinner to be able to be cooked up.
But now, exhaustion again strikes, a bit too early for bed, but almost time!
The Beer:
Name: Caracole Ambrée (Amber)
Style: Belgian Strong Pale Ale
Producer: Brasserie Caracole
Alcohol content: 7.5%
Bottle size: 0.33l
Purchased from: De Hopduvel in Ghent, Belgium
Caracole Ambrée (Amber) by Brasserie Caracole. Quite a good amber. Sweet start, but quickly gives way to a nice bitterness.
