This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. Day 272: September 29, 2015
Diary entry:
A full day of meetings, with all three projects taking a chunk of my time throughout the day.
Luckily I only had to travel between campuses once today.
Had a couple of really good discussions, and hoping to bring a lot of questions and topics to a conclusion soon. Great to see good progress being made.
And hopefully laid the groundwork for an on-site alignment later this month to truly finalize on these topics.
The Beer:
Name: Christoffel W-IPA
Style: White IPA
Producer: Bierbrouwerij Sint Christoffel
Alcohol content: 6.5%
Bottle size: 0.33l
Purchased from: Albert Heijn supermarket in Boxtel, the Netherlands
Christoffel W-IPA by Bierbrouwerij Sint Christoffel. Decent. Smooth. Not too bitter. A wee bit fruity. Easy drinking. Still 6.5% though. IPA + Wheat beer. A White IPA. Interesting.
Commercial Description (bottle label)
Mild European styled IPA combined with wheat beer. Fresh copper colored appearance, dryhopped with Centennial, Merkur, Mandarina Bavaria hops.
