This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. You can catch up on all of our posts as part of the challenge under the tag ottbeerdiary.
Day 112: April 22, 2015
Diary entry:
A very long day, catching up on the work I missed yesterday due to the offsite, along with some lengthy discussions with others on how to finalize one project, and how to move forward with the next phases of another. Well after 8PM before I headed home.
Have to skip the #TRAVEX and #FoodTravelChat Twitter chats tonight, participating only with pre-scheduled tweets, as I need to be sure I can handle a very early wake-up to head to Schiphol to pick up Erin tomorrow.
The Beer:
Name: De Klok Bier
Style: Pilsner
Producer: Koninklijke Grolsch
Alcohol content: 4.8%
Bottle size: 0.5l can
Purchased from: Albert Heijn in Boxtel, Netherlands
De Klok Bier by Koninklijk Grolsch Brouwerij. A clean Pilsner. Nothing special. Nothing fancy. Just Pilsner, as Pilsner should be 🙂
Brewed as a tribute to Brouwerij De Klok, which operated from 1809 – 1954.
