This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. Day 37: February 6, 2015
Diary entry:
Another week down. A fun and interesting week at work. Lots of good sessions, and people are starting to come to terms with the work we have to do over the next few months. Going to be a busy period!
Finally a day with no snow, first time this week. Looking forward what is shaping up to be a good weekend weather-wise.
Another gym visit, and now time to start enjoying the weekend.
The Beer:
Name: Stout
Style: Stout
Producer: Duits & Lauret
Alcohol content: 6.5%
Bottle size: 0.33l
Purchased from: Part of the 12-pack of Dutch beers given to me for my birthday.
Duits & Lauret Stout out of Utrecht. Poured a dark black, with just a little bit of head. Nice coffee flavor and bitterness.
