This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. Day 113: April 23, 2015
Diary entry:
A very early morning, as I had to be up in Amsterdam to pick up Erin from Schiphol this morning. Good to have her home, and looking forward to our upcoming travels to Spain and France!
Had to head into the office still for the second half of the day. A few meetings today, and a few more tomorrow, and then vacation begins!
Nice to be able to sit at home after work today and have dinner together…
The Beer:
Name: Flink
Style: American Pale Ale
Producer: Brouwerij ‘t IJ
Alcohol content: 4.7%
Bottle size: 0.33l
Purchased from: Gall & Gall, Schiphol Airport
Flink by Brouwerij ‘t Ij. Amsterdams Blond American Pale Ale. This was sitting for sale at the Gall & Gall at Schiphol while I was there today. Had to pick up a bottle to try! Fruity and bitter. A very nice Pale Ale.
