Day 225: August 13, 2015
Diary entry:
Happy Birthday, Mom!
Today was a good day at work, but the weather definitely started to turn.
Tonight was some of the most fantastic lightning I have ever seen, with the storm keeping me awake for a few hours with nature’s beautiful fireworks. I love summer lightning storms…as long as I’m safely indoors.
The Beer:

Producer: Nøgne Ø

Gottes Hülfe In Der Noth by Nøgne Ø. Dark, dark brown color with a creamy tan head. Dark coffee bitterness on the aroma and flavor. 7% and quite enjoyable.

Each year Nøgne Ø promises the national home brew winners that they can brew their beer in their brewery. 2014 winners were Thomas Hellberg Hagen and Geir Ølnes with their Baltic Porter.
