This post is a continuation of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I drank at least one new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. This year I may deviate from the diary format in some posts, hoping to concentrate more on the locations and the breweries I am enjoying. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below. You can catch up on all of our posts as part of the challenge under the tag ottbeerdiary.
Day 385: January 20, 2016
Diary entry:
Wednesday, and not a lot of meetings on my agenda. But the two I had still took up the entire day. A morning workshop, and an afternoon workshop. Both very important however. The only issue is that the first one was a bit of a firefight workshop, designing flows that that haven’t even been architected yet. But we have to get started or we’ll never move forward.
I did have a small gap at the end of the day, so managed to get caught up on everything else that needed to be done. These little clouds of time that allow catching up are a real godsend.
I might need to schedule some of these in my agenda on my own, just to ensure I have them every so often.
The Beer:
Name: Hip Hop USA
Style: American IPA
Producer: De Keukenbrouwers
Alcohol content: 7.2%
Bottle size: 0.33 l
Purchased from: Bierhandel Willems & Zoon from Grobbendonk, Belgium
Hip Hop USA by De Keukenbrouwers. Another fine IPA. Poured with an amber color with a thick, white head. Nice hoppy aroma. Excellent bitter flavor from the El Dorado and Cascade hops. Beautifully balanced. 70 IBU and 7.2% ABV.
