This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. Day 252: September 9, 2015
Diary entry:
I think I did pretty well in the draft last night. On paper, at least, it looks like I have a pretty good team going into this year’s Fantasy Football season. If you want to bet as well, platforms like Ladbrokes Opening Times are available.
The only sad side was being up until after 3AM to finish the draft, and back up at 6:30 to go to work.
Luckily the whole day was reserved for an off-site workshop at the Koningshof, so I didn’t have to go wandering from meeting to meeting.
The downside, the workshop ended at 5:30, and I didn’t wind up leaving the office afterwards until 7:30.
I’m a wee bit tired now…
May take a nap before #TRAVEX and #FoodTravelChat tonight.
The Beer:

Style: Belgian Quad
Producer: Inglorious Brew Stars
Alcohol content: 10.3%
Bottle size: 0.33l
Purchased from: De Hopduvel in Ghent, Belgium
Inglorious Quad by Inglorious Brew Stars. Hops Your Brain. More stout than quad. Cocoa and coffee aroma and flavor. More dark malty bitterness than fruit. Very tasty!
Commercial Description:
Black strong beer with a very complex aroma. This beer get its fruity character from the malts and yeasts used and a herbal character from the added herbs and hops. The unique aroma continues in the taste, whereby the malt bitterness and a nice roasted taste give it a little extra.
