This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. You can catch up on all of our posts as part of the challenge under the tag ottbeerdiary.
Day 257: September 14, 2015
Diary entry:
Monday.
Such a great day of the week.
To hell with the weekends, and the right to sleep in and relax.
Can’t beat the return to the daily grind!
Not too convincing…was I?
Another week begins, and this could be a long one.
Have a few presentations to prepare and give this week, and may have inadvertently stepped into a need to do more and more of these in the coming months.
Uh oh!
12 hours in the office today, but I decided I needed to hit the gym before heading home. And I’m glad I did. Felt a few tense muscles loosen up, so hopefully the rest of the week I won’t feel so tightly wound up.
Is it bad that I feel like I need a vacation again already? Luckily I have a few days off scheduled for the end of next week…
The Beer:
Name: La Gâtine Blanche
Style: Witbier

La Gâtine Blanche by Brasserie des Champs. A nice, clean, French witbier. Fruity aroma and flavor. A little bitter. Quite tasty.
