This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. You can catch up on all of our posts as part of the challenge under the tag ottbeerdiary.
Day 264: September 21, 2015
Diary entry:
Summer is over, and so is the weekend. Back to the Monday blues. Another work week beginning.
Finished up a lot of reading this morning, before starting the endless stream of meetings.
Some good discussions. It’s a pretty good feeling when people actually start seeking you out for meetings because they want your opinion. It’s been a while coming, but it’s finally coming about.
Just need to keep up with it all…
Have a big meeting tomorrow now though, so had to rush home and get a haircut. Yeah, that big a meeting!
The Beer:
Name: Mönchshof Original Pils
Style: German Pilsner
Producer: Kulmbacher Brauerei
Alcohol content: 4.9%
Bottle size: 0.50l
Purchased from: Drink shop on the road from Koblenz to Cochem, Germany
Mönchshof Original Pils by Kulmbacher Brauerei. Very basic pils. Very light and smooth. Not too much bitter. Ok.
