This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. You can catch up on all of our posts as part of the challenge under the tag ottbeerdiary.
Day 258: September 15, 2015
Diary entry:
Tuesday morning and the work grind is getting busier.
Core team meeting of my architecture group, followed by a series of other meetings to discuss some of last week’s events.
A big workshop on one of the more difficult aspects of Project #2 at lunch time, where it became pretty clear that people are starting to rely on me a little too much 🙁 I need to make sure I have a good backup…
The afternoon was spent on Project #3 and preparing PowerPoints. PowerPoints. PowerPoints. One for tomorrow. Two for Thursday. I do so love my PowerPoint!
Especially when I wind up in the office until 8PM working on them…
The Beer:
Name: Nachtflug
Style: Imperial Stout
Producer: Propeller Bier
Alcohol content: 9.1%
Bottle size: 0.33l
Purchased from: EDEKA in Kleve, Germany
Nachtflug by Propeller Bier of Bad Laasphe, Germany. Dark brown/black color with a brown head. Caramel and cocoa aroma. Chocolate and bitter flavor. Dark malts. It’s good. Not great.
