This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. Day 322: November 18, 2015
Diary entry:
Better meeting facilities today, and a couple added players in the room to round out all of the affected departments. I think we actually managed to get quite a bit done today!
And the best part is, we pretty much validated with 30 people what we worked out with 4 people last Friday. Good to have a little vindication.
The Beer:
Name: Nostradamus
Style: Belgian Brown Ale
Producer: Brasserie Caracole
Alcohol content: 9.0%
Bottle size: 0.33 l
Purchased from: De Caigny bottleshop in Essen, Belgium
Nostradamus by Brasserie Caracole. Beautiful color and a nice head. Dark brown beer with candy sugar and fruit aromas and some sweet flavors, leading into bitter. Not one I could drink all night due to the ABV and the sweetness, but a nice dessert beer.
