This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. You can catch up on all of our posts as part of the challenge under the tag ottbeerdiary.
Day 298: October 25, 2015
Diary entry:
I dozed off way too early last night, and then found myself back awake until the wee hours of the morning. Then only a few hours sleep until waking up early to start with errands.
Starting off with taking care of a flat tire, which I had to have replaced first thing in the morning. Luckily I have roadside assistance which gave me a replacement tire until tomorrow when I can get the tire properly replaced with a new winter tire.
Got a few hours of work done at home, and packed for the trip (I’m quite sure it will be approved. Again, will just keep repeating it and repeating it.)
Since we turned the clocks back an hour last night, the sun was down earlier than usual, so we took the opportunity to head down to Eindhoven to see the Van Gogh-Roosegaarde cycle path on the Eindhoven – Neunen border. This was the first semi-sunny day we’ve had in a while, so we were hoping for enough charge in the path for some decent visibility. It wasn’t as bright as other photos we’ve seen, but it was still quite pretty and impressive.
Taco dinner to finish off the evening. A little comfort food after a not as fun as hoped weekend.
