This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. Day 69: March 10, 2015
Diary entry:
Crazy Day!
Landed at Schiphol around 5:15AM this morning, and must admit, I’ve never had my bags come out this fast before! By 5:45 I was on the bus to the P3 Long-Term Parking Lot, and I was home in Boxtel around 7AM.
A quick unpack and shower then off for a full day at work, back into the hustle and bustle of the big project.
It’s good to be back.
Exhausted though, and a rough drive home. Managed to stay awake and do some grocery shopping and laundry, as well as catching up on the past few days blog posts.
And of course, back to the Belgian beers…
The Beer:
Name: Original Sin Erfzonde
Style: Belgian IPA
Producer: Brouwerij Schugel
Alcohol content: 7.5%
Bottle size: 0.33l
Purchased from: De Hopduvel in Ghent
The Original Sin Erfzonde by Brouwerij Schugel is a very enjoyable IPA, with a delightful bitterness and a grapefruity citrus. I liked this quite a lot!
Commercial Description: A collaboration between Gulden Spoor, Hugel and the California based Schubros brewery. A West-Coast IPA.
