During the colder winter months, it is relatively common to find street vendors selling chestnuts at many of the night markets in Taipei. These are a great (albeit a bit messy) snack to wander around town with when it’s cold outside — reminds me of my first trip to Paris and getting them at a Christmas Market near the Champs Elysees!

Erin,
Is that coffee roasting at the same time?
Dave
Nobody seemed to know Dave. They are smaller than typical coffee beans, but I have to think they were.
