This past week we were in Vancouver for a travel writing/blogging conference and we went on a tour of the popular Granville Island Public Market. I have been trying to track down black lava salt and ended up finding several vendors selling a wide array of salts I had never heard of, like this tumeric saffron. When all was said and done, I managed to bring back 21 different flavors to Taiwan. 🙂

Been curious about these since your Facebook comment…yum!
If we were in Vancouver I think we may well have bumped into you at this market. The markets are something we always hunt out wherever we go. Glad you managed to pick up so many souvenirs. The saffron turmeric salt looks really interesting. Bet it’s great with fish and potato dishes.
