Some people go weak in the knees for fine chocolate! Me? I melt at the sight of a good aged cheese. What better photo for this week than the gourmet cheese platter we just enjoyed a couple days ago in the tiny country of Liechtenstein. This was the 4th course of a one Michelin-starred restaurant (Maree) that we had lunch at on our way to Switzerland. All of the cheeses were incredible (even the blue, which I am not overly fond of). The preserves were made from fig and apricot. I am definitely going to find it hard to leave Europe in a couple weeks and go back to the nearly non-existent selection of cheeses in Taiwan!

Swoon! While many dishes in South America come slathered in cheese, it is never the stuff I really crave like what’s on this platter.
