This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. You can catch up on all of our posts as part of the challenge under the tag ottbeerdiary.
Day 273: September 30, 2015
Diary entry:
A very long day, with my first conference call with Korea at 7:00AM, and my last meeting ending around 6:30PM. Not a ton of downtime in between!
Again though, some good discussions, and good feedback on how best to keep progress moving on all three projects. Still a number of documents to review, so could use some downtime in the next few days to help on that front…but will manage, I’m sure.
The Beer:
Name: Polygamy Nitro Porter
Style: Porter
Producer: Wasatch Brewery
Alcohol content: 6.0%
Bottle size: 0.355l
Purchased from: Brought back from Utah in the US by Erin.
Polygamy Nitro Porter by Wasatch Brewery. 6%. 12 fl. oz. Smooth and creamy. Hard pour bringing a nice head. Dark, some coffee and chocolate flavor. Decent bitterness. Very nice.
Commercial Description (bottle label)
She’s on Nitro! Meet the sister – wife of our classic brew. This nitrogenated version is as chocolatey and easy drinkin’ as the original but even softer and creamier. It’s OK to live them both. Food Pairings: More than one of anything.
