This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. Day 110: April 20, 2015
Diary entry:
Back to work, and starting to get back to normal a little bit today.
Helped that I had to drop the car off at the dealer for some routine maintenance this morning and pick it up after work, which ensured I didn;t start too early or stay too late.
Nice steak dinner with a colleague from San Diego, followed by a couple beers at De Baron, but before dinner, enjoyed a beer on the patio.
A nice spring thus far!
The Beer:
Name: Postel Blonde
Style: Belgian Strong Pale Ale
Producer: Affligem Brouwerij
Alcohol content: 7.0%
Bottle size: 0.33l
Purchased from: Bolle Boel in Eindhoven
Postel Blonde by Affligem Brouwerij. A decent blonde beer to enjoy on the patio while waiting on coworkers for dinner.
