This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. You can catch up on all of our posts as part of the challenge under the tag ottbeerdiary.
Day 26: January 26, 2015
Diary entry:
Back to work.
Back to meetings.
Back to frustration. At least I can see that it’s not just me…
Is it weekend yet?
At least I made it to the gym tonight to let off some of the frustration.
The Beer:
Name: Que Dansent Les Nymphes
Style: American Pale Ale
Producer: Beryllium Erbium Brewery
Alcohol content: 4.5%
Bottle size: 0.33l
Purchased from: De Hopduvel in Ghent.
Que Dansent Les Nymphes is an American Pale Ale brewed by Beryllium Erbium Brewery of La Louviere, Belgium. I had a few of their beers from a previous Hopduvel run, picked up this last one on this visit. Unfortunately, this beer did not live up to my hopes. A bit too watery, without enough bitterness coming through to the palate.
