This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary.  Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. You can catch up on all of our posts as part of the challenge under the tag ottbeerdiary.

Day 23: January 23, 2015

Diary entry:

What a week. I may have set my record for meetings in which nothing was actually accomplished!

Frustrating to say the least.

Let’s see how next week goes…

At least I had a good session at the gym after work today. And hoping for a good sleep-in tomorrow.

The Beer:

I have to hand it to the Danes for their beer creativity. This beer sounds delicious and definitely one I’d love to try…I also have to hand it to you for setting out on this bold and interesting beer challenge. I wish I could join in, but alas I can’t drink beer every day (which is a shame, especially with beers like these).

I’m a bit curious if I can keep it up for the whole year. I’m noticing, though, that I’m actually drinking LESS because of the challenge. Where some night’s I’d have had two beers, I’m sticking to just the one challenge beer since I don’t want to dip into my stash for the other nights (I’m actually set through April with the beers I have secured already, not counting those days when I’ll be traveling and finding something on the spot.)
