This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. You can catch up on all of our posts as part of the challenge under the tag ottbeerdiary.
Day 278: October 5, 2015
Diary entry:
Another weekend in the books, and back to the daily grind at work.
Surprisingly, this week’s agenda is not nearly as fully booked as prior weeks and the coming weeks, so I’m looking forward to having a few opportunities to catch up on document reviews and general discussions on other topics, as well as some of the tasks related to my non-project “real” job.
Actually had a pretty decent day today, and some good discussions with team members and my director.
I left work with a smile on my face. Something I hope to do a lot more often.
It’s nice when the Beer of the Day is a treat, and not an escape 🙂
The Beer:
Name: Stout Bruintje
Style: Stout
Producer: Brouwerij Eutropius
Alcohol content: 6.5%
Bottle size: 0.33l
Purchased from: De Caigny bottleshop in Essen, Belgium
Stout Bruintje by Brouwerij Eutropius. Lots of chocolate on the aroma. Mild, nothing too strong flavor wise. A little dark bitterness.
