This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. You can catch up on all of our posts as part of the challenge under the tag ottbeerdiary.
From December 1 through December 24, I’m going to try to use a Christmas Beer for each day of Advent as part of my #ottadvent15 2015 Advent Calendar. Follow along with the tag ottadvent15.
Day 343: December 9, 2015
Diary entry:
Today was the last day before my mini-holiday for my birthday weekend, so the day seemed to go on forever.
Had a morning on Project Two, which I dare say is going to be gaining in importance in 2016 quite bit, especially in how it relates to Project One itself and with it’s related side-projects.
The afternoon was spent on Project Two itself, attending a session with senior management preparing them for the official sign-off of 2015 deliverables.
My tongue hurts. I may have bit it too hard.
Quiet evening, as I didn’t want to be up too late in preparation for tomorrow, though also because of #travex and #foodtravelchat tonight.
The Beer:
Name: Super Des Fagnes Noël
Style: Winter Ale
Producer: Brasserie des Fagnes
Alcohol content: 8.5%
Bottle size: 0.25 l
Purchased from: Bierhandel Willems & Zoon in Grobbendonk, Belgium
Super des Fagnes Noël by Brasserie des Fagnes. 8.5% 25cl Winter Ale. Heavy on the alcohol. Both aroma and flavor. A bit fruity with some winter spices hidden underneath.
