I can understand! I’ve been living in Europe and Asia since 2007, with very limited access to good North American craft beers. Luckily I’ve been doing a number of travels to San Diego recently, and have been able to start experimenting with the local San Diego, and other available craft beers.

And I can’t complain about the access to European beers during much of that time either 🙂

I know of two places here in Taipei with decent samplers like this (Jolly and Gordon Biersch). I hate to miss anything, so always strive to try at least a little of everything before I decide which one to “settle down” with.

We were seriously considering adding the BC wine tour to our journey as well, but the detour was too much for the trip up, and we wound up not tacking on the extra days.

The good thing about missing things on a first visit to a place, is it gives you more reason to need to return!
