This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. Day 208: July 27, 2015
Diary entry:
Back to work, a fine weekend having come to an end. The office is getting more empty today, as more people start their holidays. But that doesn’t seem to be keeping my agenda from filling up. Including a very interesting workshop this morning that shows just how complicated the projects will be over the next year. This is going to be quite interesting, and fun!
The Beer:
Name: Triporteur Full Moon 12
Style: Belgian Strong Dark Ale
Producer: BOMBrewery
Alcohol content: 10.2%
Bottle size: 0.33l
Purchased from: De Caigny in Essen, Belgium
Triporteur Full Moon 12 by BOMBrewery. Very nice aroma. Fruit and barrel. A little alcoholic on the flavor the only real downside.
BOMBrewery, of Bree, Belgium, is the Belgian Original Malt Bakery and Brewery. Following the old traditions, they bake their own malt barley themselves, and develop new malts for their beers.
Commercial Description:
Hell of a 12 with Belgian BOM Oak roasted at full moon. Angels and monks take shelter, here comes the devil!
