This post is a part of the 2015 New Beer Every Day Beer Diary Challenge, #ottbeerdiary. Over the course of 2015, I will be trying a new beer every day. Please read the background in the link above, and enjoy reading about the most recently tasted beers below. If you’d like to join the challenge as well, let me know in the comments below, and be sure to check out Grown-up Travel Guide and his #grownupbeerdiary, where Andy Higgs came up with the diary format in use below. You can catch up on all of our posts as part of the challenge under the tag ottbeerdiary.
Day 229: August 17, 2015
Diary entry:
That was a long weekend!
Three days of beer festivals, I must say, I was glad when Monday came around.
And today was relatively quiet on the meeting front, so I was able to get caught up on any old emails, document reviews, and presentations that need to be prepared for later in the week. It’s always good to have some time to get caught back up.
Especially since people are starting to return from holidays now, and there’s going to be a lot of catch-up reviews in the next few weeks.
The Beer:
Name: Zischke Kellerbier
Style: Kellerbier
Producer: Koblenzer Brauerei
Alcohol content: 4.8%
Bottle size: 0.5l
Purchased from: Drink shop on the way from Koblenz, Germany to Cochem, Germany.
Zischke Kellerbier by Koblenzer Brauerei. Hoppy aroma. Very light flavors. Mild bitterness. More drying aftertaste.
