(if you aren’t in Belize, use coarse, like raw, brown sugar)

Belizean spicy cocoa
(If you aren’t in Belize, use high-quality cocoa powder)

butter, room temperature

Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 350F. Lightly grease mini-donut pan.
Mix flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, spicy cocoa, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon in bowl
In another bowl, beat egg. Add vanilla extract, milk, and 1/4 cup melted butter.
Add flour mixture to bowl with wet ingredients. Mix thoroughly to ensure no lumps.
Fill mixture into mini donut pan about halfway
Bake for 14 minutes or until donuts are done
Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon with 1/4 cup melted butter and pour over donuts. You can sprinkle more spicy cocoa as well.
