05-Sep-2015: Juffer Helena by Berghoeve Brouwerij of Den Ham, Netherlands. My first beer at the Brewda Bierfestival in Breda. India White Ale. Looks like fruit juice. But has an excellent soft bitterness. Not much carbonation. Was very tasty, and an excellent way to start the festival. #ottbeerdiary

03-Sep-2015: Babylone by Brussels Beer Project. Given to me at the brewery last week. This Bread Bitter (65 IBU) smells of pine, and tastes of bitter grapefruit. Delicious! Brewed with locally recycled fresh bread and EKG, Chinook, and Crystal hops. #ottbeerdiary

02-Sep-2015: American Pale Ale by Boundary Brewing of Belfast, Ireland. For the first time, I'm drinking my own beer. I'm a member of the co-op that owns this brewery, buying one share during their crowd funding last year. And drinking this...proud of it! A light 3.5% Pale ale, but with a nice bitterness. Looking forward to trying the others! #ottbeerdiary

31-Aug-2015: Ma Mère Speciale by Brouwerij De Leite. A sour, Belgian Pale Ale from Ruddervoorde, Belgium. A beer made special by the brewer as a surprise for the 80th birthday of his mother. There may have been a slight infection in this batch, but it was still enjoyable, and with the story to go along with it! #ottbeerdiary #ebbc15

28-Aug-2015: Scotch Silly Bourbon Barrel Aged by Brasserie Silly. Here at #ebbc15. Jack Daniels barrels, though not mentioned on the labels. Nice toasty flavor. Chocolatey and a little bitter. An excellent balance of sweetness to this beer. #ottbeerdiary

27-Aug-2015: Abt 12 Oak Aged by Brouwerij St. Bernardus. Now that's a tasty beer! Strong apple aroma from the Calvados barrels. With tasty, vanilla flavors underneath. The already delicious normal Abt 12 serves as the base. #ottbeerdiary
