12-Feb-2015 : 08/03 Stout Chocolate & Orange by Brew by Numbers from London. Brewed with lactose, cacao & orange zest. 6.4% ABV. Poured a dark, dark brown, almost black. A small, creamy head. Very tasty beer. Definitely taste and smell the chocolate, with the orange definitely present as well. Excellent! #ottbeerdiary

11-Feb-2015 : Den Herberg Bruin, a Belgian Strong Dark Ale from Buizingen, Belgium. 5.5% ABV. Deep brown color. Smells a bit of caramel. Taste a bit more bitter than expected. Only slight sweetness, well below the bitter. A pleasant surprise. #ottbeerdiary

10-Feb-2015 : La Clochette Ambrée by Brasserie de la Clochette : Picked up in Durbuy, Belgium. Rich amber color with a nice head. I expected a pretty weak flavored beer, but got a surprisingly good hoppy ale instead! #ottbeerdiary

9-Feb-2015 : Vicaris Winter (2014) by Brouwerij Dilewyns of Dendermonde, East-Flanders, Belgium. A deep, dark reddish-brown, lot of fizz, if not a lot of head. Dark chocolate and black licorice, once you let the carbonation fade out a little in the glass. Actually quite tasty if you give it time. #ottbeerdiary

8-Feb-2015 : Twist & Stout Cognac BA by Brouwerij De Molen : 12% ABV, but not too too boozy. The cognac barrel left enough vanilla flavor to leave that perfect Tootsie Roll aroma and flavor. With enough dark chocolate to make it close to ideal. #ottbeerdiary

4-Feb-2015 : La Speciale Fetes by Brasserie de Bouillon. A very carbonated beer. Almost gushed from the bottle but I poured in time. Little flavor at first due to the excessive carbonation, but after sitting in the glass a while, the fruity and spice flavors emerge. #ottbeerdiary
