16-Jan-2016: Quadrupel Poorter by Brouwerij Kleiburg. One of the best beers I tried today at the Amsterdams Bierfeest at Conscious Hotels in Amsterdam. Nine Amsterdam Brewers, all of them brining their A-game. This is really an excellent Porter. Quite delicious. Nice mix of dark, bitter, and sweet. #ottbeerdiary

14-Jan-2015:Export Stout by Boundary Brewing of Belfast, Northern Ireland. A public co-op owned brewery (accepting new members for the last time at boundarybrewing.coop/membership). Pours a deep black-brown with a dark creamy head. Dark and smokey. Roasted coffee and cocoa. Dark bitterness. Quite an enjoyable stout. 7% ABV.#ottbeerdiary

13-Jan-2015: Trigo Edición Limitada Premio Yokohama 2014 by Cervezas La Cibeles. Winner of the award for best craft wheat beer at the 2014 Yokohama International Beer Competition. 10648 bottles in honor of the 10648 kilometers between Madrid and Tokyo. Wish I drank this last summer when it was fresher and the weather warmer. Nice foamy head when pouring. Wheaty aroma. Soft, fruity flavor at first, giving way to a decent bitterness that's a bit of a surprise. Gets even better in the glass after a few minutes. #ottbeerdiary

11-Jan-2016: Wild West by Brouwerij Alvinne. Clear Copper color Sour Ale. 6% ABV in a 50cl bottle. Sour, but with a richness from the 8 months in red Bordeaux wine barrels. The Morpheus yeast gives a beautiful sourness. #ottbeerdiary

10-Jan-2016: Gerry Dog Stout by Big Elm Brewing. 6.5% ABV in a 12oz can. Making its way across the pond by special delivery. Dark and a week bit fruity. Bitter and a bit drying. A good, easy drinking stout. #ottbeerdiary

06-Jan-2016: Fyr & Flamme IPA by Haand Bryggeriet. Batch 887. 500ml bottle. Excellent citrus hoppiness. Great base with the Maris Otter malt. Grapefruit and slightly floral aroma. 6.5%. I could drink this all night. #ottbeerdiary
